Having previously worked in technology, moved into real estate consultancy in 2002, Dan is now the Chairman of VA Reid.

Since 2002, worked with some of the largest developers to provide input to using the latest digital modelling technology to support planning applications, pre-let campaigns, and full go-to market strategy. 

More recently focussed on how to bring greater control and innovation to the whole property lifecycle, from how deals are financed to how the whole process is conducted to give greater control and visibility to investors. This includes how to ensure planning risk is assessed correctly at site purchase stage. 

He has also originated thinking on how to achieve greater clarity earlier in the development process on how forthcoming proposals match the rapidly changing requirements of tenants not just from a fit-for-purpose product point of view but also from an ESG perspective.
